Sally
Sally was brought to the Trust by an elderly couple who were no longer able to take care of her. She had been in the family for 21 years, having been bred on their farm, and had been well looked after. Although Sally had enjoyed the company of a horse and lots of sheep, she had never seen another donkey before arriving at Freshfields so she was rather surprised by the noisy welcome she received. She is a very gentle, affectionate girl with a passion for ginger nut biscuits.
