Violet
Violet is a very pretty donkey who came from Bakewell in Derbyshire after her owner had a heart attack and became unable to look after her. Violet had health concerns that required immediate veterinary attention upon arrival at the Trust; she was very overweight, had a prolapsed stomach, and significant problems with her feet and teeth. Violet will never be free from her health difficulties but she has a place to rest in the quieter paddock with our older donkeys and those with special health care needs; she will be monitored by the vet to try to keep her as comfortable and happy as possible.
